Data deletion

You can delete your own content at any time directly from the app, without contacting us:

• Events: Open the event → options menu → Delete event.
• Organizations: Open the organization → Settings → Delete organization.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. The content will stop appearing on the platform.

From your account (immediate): on the web, go to My data → Delete my account; in the app, Account → My data → Delete my account. We'll ask for your password to confirm and the deletion takes effect instantly.

If you can't log in: send us an erasure request (or write to contacto@ciudad-viva.clwith the email you signed up with). We'll send you an acknowledgment and process it within 30 calendar days at most.

When you delete your account:

• We delete your name, email, password and profile picture, and close all your sessions.
• We delete your plans (including the emails of the people you invited), your invitations, your “interested” marks, your notifications and your newsletter subscription.
• We revoke your access to the organizations you managed. If you're the only owner of an organization, you must first transfer or delete it.
• Your email becomes free: you can sign up with it again whenever you want.

Once your account is deleted, we stop keeping the data that identifies you. We only keep, without your name or any reasonable way of linking it to you:

• The events and suggestions you published (public content), without an author.
• Aggregate platform usage statistics and anonymous votes on suggestions.
• Technical security records (for example, access logs, which don't store emails or tokens), for up to 6 months, as a security and abuse-prevention measure.
